Thanks to this during the treatment we have the impression that our whole back is being massaged at the same time. Additionally, a calm and monotonous massage rhythm puts us in a peaceful and blissful mood. The movements are very precise and balancing with body weight allows to adjust the pressure to the massaged surface of the body.

  1. Before the massage, the person performing the treatment lights scented candles, prepares the workplace by placing a clean towel on a soft mattress or couch. For the massage essential oils and natural oils are used, which additionally affect the senses.
  2. At first, the masseur performs stroking movements, which are supposed to prepare the body for the massage and stimulate blood circulation.
  3. Then, using his hands and forearms, he performs a more thorough massage, concentrating especially on those muscles that are more tense and blocked.
  4. After the initial massage, the practitioner performs compressions on selected muscle areas to relax them.
  5. At the end of the massage, the masseur once again soothingly strokes the body with his hands alone.

Balinese massage is a combination of massage and aromatherapy. It is always accompanied by the previously mentioned essential oils, including those with the scent of rose, jasmine or ylang-ylang. They have different effects on the body – they stimulate circulation, have a relaxing and calming effect. They also help to improve metabolism in the skin and muscles.

During a Balinese massage the shoulders, back, but also the shoulders and head receive the most attention.
