What is a Thai massage?

Thai massage is based mainly on applying pressure to specific areas of the body. This is related to the concept that the body is filled with particles (“lom”), which first enter the lungs and then begin to move through 72,000 channels called “senescence”. The key clusters of senescence start at the navel and end at the mouth. The massage therapist’s job is to stimulate these tubules and move the particles through the body toward the head, where the massage ends.

  • oil massage – Thai massage successfully uses natural essential oils, which have a relaxing effect; they also improve the immune system, moisturize and improve blood supply to the skin,
  • massage withherbal stamps – preheated bags filled with a specific mixture of herbs (including lemongrass, turmeric, eucalyptus leaves, ginger, etc.) are used for this massage, which not only has a soothing effect on the body but also combats pain and has an antibacterial effect.
